Tri Marine provides the raw material and production requirements
for its owned and contract tuna processing plants.
As fishing boats finish their trips, Tri Marine will decide
with the boat owner where the boat should go for unloading.
They are directed to a port for direct delivery to a plant
or to a carrier for transshipment.
The production requirement for each processing plant is
a function of raw material availability, the plant’s
relative cost of production, market conditions, and other
considerations.
Tri Marine works with the management of each
plant to optimize the production plan for that plant.
